Therapeutic or narcissistic?

ABC News has an interesting report on an emerging bar and coffeehouse scene. Adults reading their high school diaries in public. Some would argue that this is very therapeutic as you can see where once came from, or to see that you really haven't changed all that much. Others argue that it's rather vain and that quite simply-people should get over it. Whatever "it" is that is bothering them.

I'd have to think that Sarah and Freddy had gotten together to think of ways to get people in there to drink and spend money. Kind of reminds me of the likes of The Jerry Springer Show et als.
