All, I am hoping someone will recognise this
synopsis of a book and tell me the name of
it. My mother in law started to read it once
but didn't finish. She is keen to track it
down and read it.
Ok, it is a mystery set in England. It starts
with a man being found who has amnesia, and
the only thing he keeps saying is that "I am
a murderer", or words with a similar
sentiment. He doesn't give any other
information, or respond to an treatment. He
is let go, and the police follow him as he
makes his way to a country house. They
discover at least one body on the outskirts
of the house.
And that's as far as my MIL made it into the
book! She can't remember the name of the
author, only that the cover of the book was
white. So I would appreciate any help from
anyone to identify this book!
