While doing my research on Inuit mythology, My mind gave me the needed parts of a short story I've been mentally keeping in memory...until today when I finished the idea. I titled the story "Hypodermic." It's the story of a single-parent Caucasian family- mother and her teenage boy. Because of financial woes they are forced to move into the inner city, etc., etc.
The cool thing will be HOW I tell it in first person (teenage boy - protagonist) narrative.
I have it all written out now. The characters are drawn out and ready to be read. Now when I am done with my current research subject, I'll give "Hypodermic" my full attention.
Writing so much fun!
