Between Butler's and Lang's translations, which is the better translation?

These are my only two options (besides a few older ones).

Ouch. Doing a quick search on Amazon, those are both late Victorian translations. I find Victorian translations very difficult to read, as they are very wordy.

Butler is also a novelist, so I would like to think that he would give it better flow. His is also described as "lively" which sounds fine.

If you can look through them, read a page or two from each and see which flows better for you.

And, if in the future you have a chance, find Robert Fagles translation. If is much, much more readable.
