vida winter?

with the release of The THirteenth Tales by Diane Setterfield(a da vinci code type book, but better written, or so people say) I've become interested in Vida Winter and wish to read her works before I read the books. searches on amazon and google have proved fruitless. Is there a possible way to find and read her works?

Is she a real writer? I read The Thirteenth Tale (and loved it) and thought she was figment of Setterfield's imagination.

Yeah, a quick google search confirms. You can't find Vida Winter because she's a character in a book.
