Ok bear with me now. Do you ever get flash backs from books like you do with films....as in i can remember scenes from films quite easily as they have a bigger visual affect, but has a book had such good imagery that you can visulise the scenes well after you read them.

Absolutely. Steinbeck does that for me. He paints a picture for me that I never forget. And a good Historical Fiction can also stay with me. There are alot of books that have stayed with me visually. It's a beautiful thing!
