We like the moon!

A girl in my lab is addicted to this song. She plays it over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I mean, it's a ok song, but it's not like it's the Viking Kittens or anything.

That was cute the first few times I saw it, but it tends to get old after a while, partially due to the quiznos commercial.

Your fave band scares me

Laibach started out in Yugoslavia around 1982 (they actually predicted the end of their country  ). Their name is the Nazi name for Ljubljana and, when forbidden to use the name Laibach for a concert in 1984, they simply put posters up with their logo (a cross), the venue, and the date. Word of mouth spread and the concert was a sell out. Most of it was visual but the gig was simply very heavy industrial beats, deep deep bass, and freestyle clarinet. :p

Some people think they are a pisstake. Others treat them as deadly serious. They make great albums though - usually a mixture of opera/choirs with techno or rock and the obligatory deep voice. At the end of the 80s they did a cover of the Beatles' album Let It Be, doing their own take on every song except for the title track. Their version of Across the Universe is beautiful (like a harp mixed with a female choir) while Get Back sounds like a Nazi marching song.

The best band from Slovenia...ever! :D

Well... it's not like they have much in the way of competition lol

Anyway, sounds interesting :)

It used to be on their website. Dunno why it vanished. The viking link on the site now just takes you to the gaybar one instead. Maybe they got in trouble for it. But if you look for these things, they can still be found.
