What Did You Do With Your Extra Time

You are probably aware that the "powers that be" added an extra second at midnight Dec 31st to syncronise the clocks with the slowing rotation of the earth.

Wondering, what did you do with your extra second.

I wish I could say I slept through that extra second,but somebody neglected to put our lovely but stupid dog Daisy, in the garage. We know this because she kindly chose our window to stand under as she protected us from yapping coyotes and other varmits detectable only to sharp canine senses. Fortunately for Miss Daisy, Mr. Abecedarian's 22 is in the attic...

I found myself thinking, " What an amazing thing, to have an ..." Then it was time to move on.

I had an idea, but it's gone now.
