Since a lot of you are self-described bookworms, I’m wondering what you do for exercise? What gets your heart pumping faster, and makes the sweat boil out of your pores? What do you do if you're not a bookworm. I don't really think of myself as a bookworm.
I also wonder this because so many of you live in different places around the world. Maybe there’s some really interesting activities you are engaged in.
Last night I played ice hockey for well over an hour. Never underestimate the importance of stretching before intense skating. Especially your groin….ouch.
Ice skating really works muscles that don't get much attention from other forms of regular exercise.
I also try to jog at least 2 times a week when the weather permits. Usually around 5 kilometers each time I go out. Winter makes this very tough to do sometimes.
Last, I have a dog that gets walked at least twice a day (no matter what the weather) by me for a total of maybe around 2 miles. But that does not really make my heart beat faster or cause sweat. Unless we meet another dog along the way. I have a 50lbs. pitbull. She lacks a few social skills. Amazing how strong 50lbs. of pure muscle can be.
