What's it worth?

It all depends on the availability - check around (half.com, amazon, powells books, alibris, abebooks, etc.) and see if there are copies available and if so, what they go for.

Otherwise, it'll just depend on how bad you want it. Since he passed away recently, there will be a slight bump in memorabilia prices for a few weeks.

Ashlea,
You've hit the nail on the head in more ways than one.
That is to say that, ultimately, the only "suitable" bid is the maximum that "Bookbuyer" is willing to pay. I know that that sounds like a cop-out, but it's the truth. In any auction situation, "worth" is a slippery concept; all that really matters is what an item is worth to you (i.e. the prospective buyer).
Having said that, though, you should also check with the sites mentioned. There's no point to paying more over eBay than you would have to from an established book-seller.
