Where the Heart Is

A few years ago I fell in love with the book Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts and when the movie came out I was thrilled to see it and it did not even disappoint me as most movies do. However, one thing really surprised me for while in the book Novalee is very superstitious about the number seven in the movie they changed it to number five (I believe … at least I KNOW it was another number than seven), does anyone have any ideas about the motivation behind this?

Miles of smiles,

Squeegee.

Miles of smiles - that made me laugh!

You must be very tired when you go to bed at night.

Sleep vs Energy!

Hehe ... well, yes, I am a good sleeper .. but I can also very well do without sleep .. I have so much energy in me that I enter 10 K runs, but also love going out and dancing the night away. And about the smiles, well, people recognize me by my smile, it is my trademark! :) --> Me! Now what is your trademark? Oh, don't you just love weird questions! Hehe ...

My trademark - I annoy the hell out of people. Just asks the lovely folks on these boards.

No, seriously .. I wouldn't know.

As for loving weird questions - look here.

Your trademark is your dry wit. Very original.

Go away, Phil - you don't even know where Dutch people come from.

Tig, was that sarcasm?

You're quite welcome. :)

Nope, haven't seen the film, so I'm no help whatsoever on this one.

So that's 9, or 10 (counting this one) replies to a question without anything even resembling an answer.

How do we do it?

Well, I've seen this film, and it was good, so :p . I can't answer the question though!! Maybe it was because seven is seen as a lucky number in England, so they changed it because of that? Dunno about in the USA though.

Seven is considered lucky here too.

Ha! See that Wabbit? I CAN post on-topic when I get the notion. ;)
