The problem with a lot of books in the self-help/inspiration genre is they rely on God. Fair enough, many people find help and inspiration through religion. But for those that who are not religious but looking for hope are left out. Maybe it's the religious telling us for the umpteenth time...

Seasoned Pynchon readers are saying it's a beast. I am so intrigued.
I finished The Brooklyn Follies and between it and JPod Follies wins hands down. Thrice the novel that JPod is.
I've become obsessed with Pynchon. Considering I haven't read any of his novels it's ridiculous. Today I picked up V. and Vineland used but in decent condition for just less than $12 for the pair of trade paperbacks.
I don't re-read very often because there are so many great books that I already haven't read. One day I'll start re-reading but my priority is read as much as I can.
