You should read 'The Darren Shan Saga'. The Author (Darren Shan... Might not be his real name) writes like it is real. Great read. There are 11 books in the series so far, more coming soon. The books are quite short, I read 3 of them in 2 days.

Ooo! Clangers! If you're in Britain and have Sky TV then you can still watch them on channel 618 or something near there (lol) I enjoyed them more when I was younger but they are still entertaining :D
