I just read Chronic City and am amazed at how bad it was. The story was so incredibly abstract and just plain weird. It was almost like he was describing some really bizarre dream he had. The kind where everything looks and sounds real yet there are many things that make no sense at all, but...
Yeah, I can't imagine that it will be near as good as the first season. For one thing, everyone knows who they are now, so the randomness will be toned down a lot.

Yeah the majority of shows I attend don't have physical tickets and sure, a lot are just ok. But I've seen some very unforgettable shows that were around $10, a few of which had 6 or 7 bands playing. Even so, like I said, if they do cost more and are handled through a big ticketing company...
I think it definitely takes a different person to do that job. "Crazy" is a little harsh, but certainly a variation of it. The ending was perfect. Sometimes the only way people like him truly feel alive is when they're that close to death.
Yeah they leave the house. They all have to work at this t-shirt store in order to stay at the house. They go to clubs and bars and engage is various forms of idiocy. It's very similar to The Real World but much more obnoxious.
