Just to elaborate on "what to get the person"... would it be easier if each person gave you a list of 5 books or so and then their secret santa could pick one of the 5? I would just hate to send someone something that they already own.:)
I read a ton of the Dragonlance books years ago and am currently reading the George RR Martin books. This seems to be more of a sci-fi/fantasy type of thing.
I got about 35 pages into Farewell to Arms and just couldn't stand it anymore. Doesn't exactly count since I didn't finish it, but I'm sure I would have hated myself for wasting time on it.:lol:
