Is that so? Seems like I can only start from writing the short stories. Emm, in my stories, there are only characters, and conversations, but no settings/cirumstances/backgrounds/etc. So, how you (writers and authours) select or make up the acceptable story settings for your characters? Or...

Hi, Sirmyk, I just felt curious here. How it is like to (or why you can) write about a teenage girl when you are the opposite gender from the story charactor. I mean, I came to realize that I couldn't write about how a man thought in his way, or how he felt in his way unless I was born a male.
