I was in Miami for a couple of days last year, to me it seems that learning to speak Spanish is a necessity to live there. I speak Spanish and know common phrases in German, French and Italian. I am currently working on my Italian.

I just watched the movie, and really liked it. Quite a bit of vio;ence, but is based on actual events. Was this a good historical film, another thought provoking Speilberg social commenatary, or both. What did you guys think?

A few pet peeves: Slow drivers who drive in the passing lane. Parents who allow their children to act like savages in public places, especially in a restaurant or a cinema. Obnoxious people and ones who think they can bully themselves through life. People who make it their daily job...

I would be on a beach with a Corona or Grolsch in hand reading my favourite book while I soaked up the sun. Good new is I leave on the 21st for resort in Cancun!:) I can not wait!

I used to keep everything I had read, but now I am more selective. I keep mostly reference books and books I am more likely to read again. This is still quite a few books!

I am a spreadsheet freak...so I have a pretty good catalogue of my collection on Excel, this also contains a page for TBR books and "to purchase books."

I read The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls and I actually loved it. I would not have picked up this book to read...but my wife talked me into it. She is not the greatest writer, but the story of what she had to go through is amazing.
