If you could be anywhere...

If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be? And why aren't you there?

I would just like to sit on my parents porch soaking up the sun and warmth that is the first taste of summer here in Sweden. Instead I have to finish painting my living room, and my arms are already numb from doing the roof yesterday. The sun is mocking me!!!

I'd be in France, sat outside a lovely little cafe with a nice cool drink, the sun shining on me whilst I read my book, bliss!

to be honest (and i dont mean to be too depressing) id be with my father in 1999 shortly before he died telling him how much i love him...the location would be irrelevant.

While we're in the depressing mode..I'd go back in time to January 26, 1972..and I'd beg my dad to take his shotguns to the neighbor's for safe keeping til he got help for his depression...

It was, which is one reason time travel has always appealed to me..

yep..i can fully understand what you mean. that would also be the first thing id do.

the second thing would be to try to change the outcome of a few sports events and the third thing would be to tell that girl when i was 16 that i do want to see her again;)

Oh, DO save a seat for me! And, while you're at it, an espresso would be great! I'm on my way!!!!

I SO miss France now that I've moved to the US; it's just not quite so simple to pop over there for long weekends any more :(

ABC and sme, you have no idea how bad you make me feel thinking about what you have gone through.

Now, I am going to take my book and go out on the porch and in the fresh air
try to finish my book, Rebels of Ireland.

I would be back in my teen years , at summer camp, with my best friends. The summers I spent at camp were always my favorite. There is just no experience comparable to that. In partiuclar, I suppose I would just be in my hut on one of the rainy days goofing off.

The camp was shut down by it's parent company in 2003 and sold off bit by bit to land developers looking to build million dollar homes on lakefront property. The camp was actually doing well, there were waiting lists to get in. But the parent company thought a camp was too much liability.

So, over 80 years of girl camp tradition went down the drain.

Yes, ABC amd sme. And I trust your wishes to see your fathers again one day will be granted.

I would be on a beach with a Corona or Grolsch in hand reading my favourite book while I soaked up the sun.

Good new is I leave on the 21st for resort in Cancun!:)

I can not wait!

If I could be anywhere right now, I would be already magically moved to Germany. All this sorting and packing is the pits. I just want to be there already :(
