What does your avatar mean & why did you choose it?

My kids have all gone to the same church camp, and they have a song for you: The Banana Song. Dont bother asking me what the Banana Song has to do with church, the Bible, or anything else; it's just something fun they do..

    Duck Dynasty

Mr Abc couldn't get beyond the first two or three episodes. I think he should give it another chance. The Robinsons are neat folks, who aren't afraid to be themselves and speak up for their beliefs. That alone is pretty refreshing.

And sometimes he is an Undercover DOD agent, secretly working on the ultimate weapon to shut down life as we know it...why yes, we just watched the first season of Revolution, why do you ask? LOL

What does your avatar mean & why did you choose it?

Well, since our avatars are liable to change eventually, I'll just say I chose this pic of the little blonde kid with an attitude because he/she reminds me of myself when I was little.

How do y'all stick with 1 avatar?

How do y'all stick with 1 avatar?

I've switched mine several times here..just whenever I find a new image I like. This little kid looks a lot like I did when I was tiny..

    R.I.P. Neil Armstrong

I don't remember the name of the tv show or even the place.. but recently, there was a show that featured the Body Farm..and one of the 'experts' on that show used to be my neighbor..back when I was in Kindergarden and first grade, and he was a mere toddler. I loved going down there to visit his...

    R.I.P. Neil Armstrong

Yes, it probably would be a good read..I think I'll see if there is one, I bet Mr. Abc would read it if I can't get to it. He loves to watch documentaries about the space program. Lurvs it. There is a newer book about the astronauts' wives that sounds good..The Astronaut Wives Club.

    R.I.P. Neil Armstrong

Wanna know a funny? This story is a year old! I didn't realize it til a friend on facebook pointed it out. My husband jokes about one of the perks of aging being we can reread the same books since we forget the plotlines anyway; I guess that holds true for newstories as well. Still, It's good...

    Ancient history

I agree! I like to use those books for the 9-12 year old readers, as introductions to a topic. Then I expand to adult titles. The Dk books are like a trip to a museum, meant to whet the appetite for more information. I love them.
