Okay BAR this one requires a bit of explanation. A couple of weeks ago I treated a dog that was shot in the chest and then nearly buried alive. The media got wind of it and they swamped the hospital all week. Here's my editorial on it.
After Allison
It’s been quite a crazy whirlwind...
You said anything:
I'm overworked and overtired. I need a massage. I also want a personal reader. This would be a very smart person that would read every single book I was reading at the exact same time then would be available to talk to me about the book 24 hours a day until I was...
The best scene is when Danny is riding his bike down the halls off and on,off and on,off and on, off and on the carpet. The sound is almost as scary as the first time you heard the theme song to Jaws.
I hear what you are saying about Kuniko. I really sympathized and heck, even empathized with her, quite a bit. I was very shocked when he killed her but what a great plot twist!
I don't have the book in front of me but I'm wondering about the description of Satake's victim's "pleasure"...
Just finished The Third Secret by Steve Berry. I have to say it was pretty good. Better than The Last Cato which I believe I mentioned earlier. Not too badly written and a fairly engrossing plotline. I'd recommend if you're wanting books in this style/genre.
All The Names Jose Saramago
"As soon as you cross the threshold, you notice the smell of old paper." The Central Registry of Births, Marriages and Deaths is the setting for All the Names, Nobel Prize-winning Portuguese author José Saramago's seventh novel to be translated into English. The...
Personally I do think all of these things probably are conditions or imbalances BUT I DON'T CARE. Do the crime do the time. I have a freaking mental imbalance every 28 days but I'm also able to control myself by eating a bag of oreos and not slaughtering my neighbor OR running some poor guy...
There is a search function you can use. Also the Forum is divided into categories like General Fiction, SciFi, Horror, Non Fiction(I think) and so on. You can browse within the catergories. We also have a book of the month section in which people can vote on a book to read and discuss. Take...
I also enjoyed this book for a few reasons. One of which was the discussions of the boy's logic and advanced reasoning capabilities. I found those intriguing. Some of the puzzles I was able to see right away(Boy I'm smart) :) but a few of them I had to really look at and read the...
Oh my gosh. I never would have remembered game books had you not brought them up. It was 4th grade for me and I loved those things! I would read them honest once, then just try all the choices. Those books were great fun. I don't remember any dice though. Different set I suppose or maybe we...
This weekend at the beach I needed some good smut so per: lennynero's recommendation I picked up The Rooms by Michael Hemmingson. YIKES!
I also bought:
The Third Secret by Steve Berry started that this morning. Not bad.
We have the same affliction. I think Amazon is secretly programming our keyboards to hit Add To Your Cart, or the even more dangerous Buy With One Click
