    Who is your favorite author?

I think I am going to have to go with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

    How Many Books In 2012?

Very true. I have at least a dozen non-fiction books sitting unread on my shelf and exist there purely for my own curiosity. :flowers: I imagined the number would have been higher, but I consider that rather good considering that nearly the entire bookcase is non-fiction books.

    Shakespeare's Plays

It's been a few years since I watched this movie, but I remember liking it.

Daughters of Rome - Kate Quinn :stars3:

    Current Non-Fiction reads

I started reading President Obama's The Audacity of Hope, but I've gotten kind of side-tracked by other books on my shelves and from the library so I'm still only a little bit over 100 pages into it. I really need to get back to it because I was enjoying what I read.

what's your favorite classical book you've read?

I originally read Phantom in high school, but I forgot most of it (which probably had something to do with zipping through it for the Accelerated Reader points). I read it again a couple of years ago and LOVED it! I actually have two copies because I came across a beautifully illustrated edition...

    How Many Books In 2012?

I would like to get about 50 of those unread books on my shelves finished this year.

The Postmortal - Drew Magary :stars2: Interesting premise and starts out well enough, but starts to go downhill after the middle.

Roger Ebert on why movie revenues are dropping...

A noisy audience is what I fear nowadays. I was looking forward to Machine Gun Preacher and had to drive around two hours to reach a theater that was playing it, but twenty minutes into it some people came into the theater and spent most of the film chatting away in the back. I actually asked...

    Literary resolutions

That's pretty much mine as well.

    Reading Journal

I think something like this would be fun. One of my friends bought me a Book Journal a few years back for Christmas, but it's not like the one in the link. The first half of the pages have a heading that says "BOOKS TO READ" and the latter portion heading says "BOOKS BORROWED/LENT".

Would you read a series of books that are more then 30 in it?

No, I do not believe there is an author alive whom could satisfy me over the course of thirty books or more.
  13. Fantasy Moon

what's your favorite classical book you've read?

The Count of Monte Cristo and I've also taken a shine to Jane Eyre, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and The Phantom of the Opera.

Hell on Wheels, a western AMC original

DVR'd the marathon a few weeks ago and added the series as a regular recording. So I just finished watching the third episode a few minutes ago. I must say that I like the show.

    Fewer books in book stores?

I noticed that kind of space allotment before Borders closed down. Really the only toys I paid much attention to were the season stuffed animals that the store offered discounted with the purchase of a certain amount. I have an incredible weakness for stuffed bears, what can I say?

    Conan Doyle

I was thinking about getting the edition of the complete Sherlock Holmes from Barnes & Noble's leatherbound series until I was reading reviews that mention the insane amount of typos present in the volume. Still I think I'd like to have the whole set of Holmes canon at some point. The hardcover...
