    Music From An Era

Probably from the 90's to now I like,I probably like some of the late 80's too I think.

    Dean Koontz: Velocity

Sorry bro,I'm using your thread to write a review on the awesomeness of Velocity. It was a complete mind-**** seeing Billy change like that. I give it: :stars5: My 4th favorite book of all time.

    Testicles can rip off??

WHAAAAAAT!? If I have a hot woman I'm fixing to have sex with,I'll make sure to have a steel condom just in case.

    Nicholas Sparks

We'll see who has the #1 book in a few days, which will be Deaver with his The Burning Wire. I bet they asked him questions about other authors like Koontz,Patterson,Connelly etc.

    Never really read before...

You seem like the Mystery type. I have(These are first books in a series, and suspenseful or fun Mysteries,or thriller): Storm Front by Jim Butcher Eye of the Storm by Jack Higgins The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum I would suggest the Harry Bosch series, but you do not seem like that kind of...

Jeff Lindsay: Dexter in the Dark

I also hated it,I can't stand when a killer goes into that state of mind, and doesn't want to kill, also starts getting emotions which overpowered his needs. The book was like a chore when I was reading it. Good thing Dexter by Design redeemed the series enough to keep me reading.
  10. The Butcher

    Goosebumps

I tried them when I was younger, and hated them. Since myself did not like it back then,I probably won't like it now.
  11. The Butcher

    Very heartwarming--please read

The title is not making me motivated to read it,and neither is what it's about.

    sick of serial killers

Nah,Wizards are far from dead. Harry Dresden is the only person keeping characters like that alive. Mystery had it's time back in the 80's-90's,seems as though it's not that popular anymore though.

    sick of serial killers

Nonetheless,it's interesting. Oh,and not all authors just decide "this is going to be my killer!",off scratch. Some of them ask Psychologists,Police, and sometimes killers themselves. I'm sure they do their research.

    Your book activity today

Around 60-70 pages away from finishing Summer Knight,so something tells me I'll have to bring Death Masks with me tomorrow in case I finish it.

What albums have interested you thus far in 2010

Hanging on By A Thread by The Letter Black. Best female rock singer I have ever heard,I rate the disc 8.9/10.
  17. The Butcher

    sick of serial killers

You have to see it from the killers' POV,and why the person does it also, and also how. It also adds entertainment to the book. With people like Hannibal,Dexter Morgan, and Bateman, you get to read about how killers act,and why.Though I don't read stuff mainly for the killers(If it's from a...

Real Men Read; program to encourage literacy

I wonder who said reading is for boys? Anyways,it depends on what books they are saying they are going to make them read. You give them a copy of Shakespeare, they're probably going to not read it. Give them a copy of Maximum Ride and they will probably love it. I am also tired of the people who...

    [ Old Movies ]

I've watched a REALLY good one, when Clint Eastwood was in his prime as "Dirty Harry". The movie was in the early 70's I think.
  20. The Butcher

    Classic books into good movies?

American Psycho was pretty good as a movie. Bale was a brilliant Bateman.
