recommendations for good Sci fi/fantasy books

For fantasy try Steven Erikson's Malazon Book of the Fallen. I've only read the first book and it's quite good. Just so many books I wanna read and not enough time.

    David Baldacci

He is one of my favorite author and there are a few that I haven't read from it which is Wish You Well, Christmas Train and Last Man Standing. I've read the rest and have to say that The Winner was my favorite. Camel Club, Simple Truth and Stone Cold are also good.

    Micheal Connelly: The Concrete Blonde

I liked this book and you can really see that Connelly has gotten better as a writer compared to his two earlier works.

Which Is The Most Important Element In A Well Structured Novel?

I agree with this. Some books I read felt like they are written by fourth graders (no offence).

Lord of the Rings: Favorite edition?

I have the paper back edition and don't know which edition it is. I have to say these books are one of my favorite of all time. I have to say that IMHO, The Hobbit is the best book by Mr. Tolkien.

    Recently Finished

Michael Connelly's A Darkness More than Night - It reunites three of Connelly's characters in Harry Bosch, Terry McCaleb and Jack McEvoy. I though it was so and so. I wanted more interaction between all three. Now on to my next Harry Bosch book.:stars3:

    errors in Lee Child book

Thanks for the tip. I've always been curious about Lee Child. I kinda want it to be realistic for me to like the book. Do you guys know anything about Harlan Coben or Daniel Silva?

    Beginnings or Endings

I would say finishing one because when I start one I'll get to around 100 to 150 pages if they are boring and slow then I'll usually start another book.

    Michael Connelly: The Scarecrow

I'm on a Michael Connelly phase right now and will get to this eventually. I'm on Darkness right now though. I'm glad to hear it though because The Poet was a great book.
