Always wanted to see that movie, thanks for reminding me. Just added it to my netflix queue. To keep on topic, I guess Guinness reminds me of McGonigel's Mucky Duck, a lovely pub with incredible music. They also make a Guinness Beef stew that is excellent.

You can get draft (draught?) Guinness in lots of pubs here! But the people who've been to Ireland do say it tastes better there.

I am starting this slowly as I've been very busy, but am loving it so far. Her attention to detail for the era (no idea if she's made any errors, and if she has its "fantasy" so who cares) and the Jane Austen quality of the voice is wonderful.
