    Arcane Thriller Authors?

    I'm not sure if Sylvian Hamiliton, The Bone Peddlar and the other books in this series qualifys, written in the time of King John it is the of a peddlar in religious relics. It is sitting on my tbr mountain but the reviews were good :)

    I'm not a big horror reader lately but will second Sirmyk's recommendations and if you are into the occult there's that old timer Dennis Wheatley, and, maybe a little tame but Anne Rice of course and her vampires. :eek:
