First off, I'm a newbie, and thanks for having this forum!
I watched the movie, "Tuck Everlasting" (based on the book) last night and it reminded me of a different book I read when I was younger (about 12-15 years ago). It's absolutely killing me that I can't remember the title or author and have unsuccessfully been able to find it by googling keywords.
These are bits and parts that I remember:
It was set in modern day (not old , like in Tuck Everlasting).
A young girl met this family that consisted of a mother, son (same age as the main character), and a ? younger ? daughter. I think she ended up falling for the son and then later found out that they were all like hundreds of years old, but were doing something to make themselves not age or die. There were other things going on in the plot that I just can't remember.
I believe she was staying at this house with them for the summer or something.
This may sound silly, but remember that it kind of spooked me after I read it, so I really think I tried to push the memory of the story out of my head, hence the reason why I can only remember small details of it now.
Is there any chance that anyone out there has read this book and may know what I'm talking about? I would appreciate any leads!
