I agree with you, the movie was disappointing, but isn't that the way most books translate onto the screen? I have yet to hear anything about the third book, if you list him as one of your authors on authortracker.com, then as soon as something is released to the press you will get an email...
I found his books very interesting. I disliked the Templar Legacy because I think the templar books have been beaten into the ground by Dan Brown and the new genre of fiction that has followed in his wake. The Romanov Prophecy is by far his best book, as a child I loved to research the Romanov...
I can't agree with you more. I did not particularly enjoy the book, but when I finished reading I was much more appreciative of my great-grandparents who went through the same thing.
I loved the book, I was unable to put it down and unable to stop crying. I had a friend who had cancer and recieved a transplant from her sister. The charcters in the story seemed very realistic to me, having seen first handedly how a family teetering on the edge of breakdown manage to function...
I loved the book and agree with you Arabian Gurl, it was certainly a very different take on heaven than I have heard before.
Did anyone else see the film adaption to the movie? I thought it was horrible.
I thought that Harry having his mother's eyes already served its purpose with Professor Slughorn. Harry having the same qualities as his mother, was therefore able to use Slughorn's liking of his mother to extract the memory from Slughorn.
I believe so. In the first book. Harry was the greatest seeker since Charlie graduated. So I guess your prospective depends on how long is a long time, I can't remember how much older Charlie is than Harry.
I really don't understand how Dan Brown has managed to stay so far up on the best sellers list for so long. Has anyone else read the Romanov Prophacy, it was a similar idea but a much better novel.
Sorry I forgot where I found it! It was on her website, not in a book:
"What happens to a secret when the Secret-Keeper dies?
I was surprised that this question won, because it is not the one that I'd have voted for… but hey, if this is what you want to know, this is what you want to know...
Maybe you are misinterpreting Sirrius' feelings, I think he is displaying more bitterness and resentment but most of all disappointment towards Regalus' choices.
I remember reading that when the secret-keeper dies, the secret goes with them. Meaning that if Dumbledore was secret keeper for Harry then when he died nobody would be able to find him with the Dursley's because he would never be around to reveal Harry's location. I think that there is no charm...
I am still determined to prove that Snape is good, so here is another try. When Snape was arguing with Dumbledore (in 7th book, Hagrid overhears and tells Harry) I think Snape was arguing that he doesn't want to pretend to be Voldermort's man anymore. I think this is when Dumbledore told Snape...
That could raise another question then, is it destroyed or not?
I don't want to believe that it is Regalus, not only would it be disappointing because everyone automatically assumes that it is him but it would also make Dumbledore appear not as smart. Dumbledore and Harry had to sift through...
But if he wasn't dead then Harry wouldn't have inherited all of Sirrius' stuff. Wouldn't it have gone to the surviving member of the Black family? Despite Sirrius' will things are transfered through magic.
