he's a whiny , douche bag.
a local FM morning show used to have him on every now and again years ago, was a whiny, douche bag then, and now.
he said he routinely has 60-70 books going at one time? I call b.s. , how can he even remember what's going on?

exactly, interlibrary loan is such a great thing, without it most libraries would be alot more useless today.
I don't know how many times I've had a book on my TBR or TBB list and simply got it via interlibrary loan, you can at least see if it's worth it to buy it for the long term thus...

they've always made you wait for the cheaper paperback version, if you really wanted to read it...

think of what's happened to CD sales and many of the big box retailers.
One thing I'll...
and don't forget there's a sequel to Cannery Row called Sweet Thursday
there are many novels set on or around the sea.....
Lord Jim - Joseph Conrad, he wrote alot about the sea
Kidnapped and Treasure Island are sea adventures by Robert Louis Stevenson
Sailing alone around the...
I know I've had to intentionally remind myself to slow down when reading a novel or short story.
I get so used to reading a plethora of news websites, blogs and message boards so quickly I sometimes need to remind myself I'm reading for pleasure and slow down a bit.
good article.
