Has anyone read his books before?
I bought the third book in the Rings of the Master series the other day, thought it sounded interesting.
So can anyone recommend him?
Well if you like Carl Sagan, you might enjoy his son Nick Sagans trilogy.
1) Idlewild
2) Edenborn
3) Everfree
I'm currently reading Everfree myself. ;)
One of my favorites, I just love it.
I also love Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening, The Sound of Trees, The Road Not Taken......okay I pretty much love all of his work! :p
The first book that made me cry was Black Gold by Marguerite Henry, I was just a little girl at the time but it made me cry a lot.
Other books that have made me cry recently are, Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier, I was seriously upset after finishing that one, don't know if I can...
hardback or softback novels? Hardback
Pen or pencil? Pen
Paper clip or staple? Staple
Holding a book in hand or laying it on your desktop? Whichever is easier at the time
Having a stack of books on the floor or shelving them up correctly? I have both, although my stack is not on the floor...
I don't mind reading books with a lot of characters, gives you more to like and dislike and I find books more interesting that way.
However I enjoy reading trilogies and series', so I think they need more characters then just a stand alone novel.
I can't wait for this movie to come out, I loved the book!
Although I was worried about how Sapphira was going to look and I must say I'm very impressed. :)
Hmmmm, thats a tough choice.
I don't think I have only one fav, thats just to hard to pick, but a few male characters that stand out to me are.......
Mr.Darcy from Pride and Prejudice because though he's not the most easy going man he has a good heart and is loyal to those he cares for...
Okay try this one.....
''How long before I get in
Before it starts before I begin
How long before you decide or
Before I know what it feels like
Where to, where do I go?
If you never try then you'll never know
How long do I have to climb
Up on the side of this mountain of mine''
Well currently this is how my tbr list stands.
Evening Glass by Maeve Binchy
The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory
Yesterday by Fern Michaels
Late Bloomer by Fern Michaels
Close to You by Christina Dodd
Almost Like Being in Love by Christina Dodd
Gone With the Nerd by Vicki Lewis Thompson...
Ever since I watched 'Elf' for the first time one of my favorite words has been 'Ginormous'.
A word I that don't like is 'Specifically', because for some reason it's hard for me to pronounce sometimes.
Well I'll give you some authors who have written several or at least one book about dragons or that have dragons in them.
Christopher Paolini
Shana Abe
Mary Brown
Margaret Weis
Margaret Weis with Tracy Hickman
Patricia C Wrede
Ed Greenwood
Sean McMullen
Jean Rabe
Joe Dever
Hope that helps!
