DITTO!!! As a mother of a 4 year old, I can't agree more!! You can only take so many "HONK HONKS" and CHOO CHOOS" and besides that, there are the toys that don't take batteries....so they never die. UGH!!
On that note the WORST INVENTION EVER is the Lionel Coin Bank!!
I agree...Grafton does an amazing job with the Alphabet series. My personal favorite detective series is the Alex Cross ones by James Patterson. I'm ashamed to say that I got into them AFTER I watched "Kiss the Girls" but, now I've read them all.
Omg!!!!!!!!!!
That was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I have never been more satisfied about a season premiere before. I laughed, I cried and I enjoyed. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rarely buy brand new books, unless its something that I've been waiting for, like HP and some of the ongoing series novels.
I usually buy my books at Goodwill, then when I'm done, I often re-donate them. My husband gets mad when I start leaving the books around. Seriously there are...
Stephanie Plum from the Janet Evanovich series. She is a quirky and sometimes clueless lingerie sales girl turned bounty hunter. She has 2 hot guys after, Joe is the stable Trenton police officer and Ranger, he is the hot Cuban bounty hunter and is a loose cannon.
Personally, with a 3 1/2 year old, a husband, a full-time job and a life, I find it very hard to find time to read. Don't get me wrong, I still read, I just don't read as much. I can only do 1 book a month (except for Harry Potter, I did that in 1 1/2 days), and that is on my lunch breaks and...
I need a washer!!!!!!!!!!!!
The laundromat. Kids running around, where the hell are their parents? God, I want to leave. My dryer is spinning, and spinning. Red, blue, black and white. WHITE! How did a white get in there? CRAP! I Hope its not my new tank top. Where are their parents?!?!
The last concert I attended was Rob Thomas and Jewel, it was real good. Jewel is cool, she is just a stoner with her guitar, it was quite entertaining.
My next concert is Lynyrd Skynyrd, next week. Unless is rains cause its in an outdoor venue. I'm crossing my fingers.
I don't have any bumper stickers on my car, but I have on on my desk at work that says: IMPEACH THAT SON-OF-A-BUSH!
I did see one the other day that I liked it said: EVE WAS FRAMED. I would so put that on my car, but my husband would hate it!
I do agree that Michael Moore does a better job, in the sense of getting the word out. I mean you don't hear people always talking about seeing Al Franken on CNN or reading one of his books. Its just that Michael Moore is like a Hyper-Active - Kid on Christmas Day when he dishes out some...
Lies, and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, by Al Franken.
Its a little Michael Moore-ish, but I love it so far. I'm a HUGE Ann Coulter hater, so its right up my alley!
When I was 14, I was reading Gone With the Wind and Scarlett. I had seen the movie over and over since I was little. I know that my required reading when I was a Freshman was pretty good, too! We read The Great Gatsby, Great Expectations and Lord of the Flies. Of Mice and Men was an easy read...
That sounds like it sucked. I've definitely been there though.
Ok, the weirdest thing this week....let me think, there's too many.
I'll go with 2 ex-boyfriends found me on myspace on the same day (Thursday) so I looked on their pages, and they are like best friends. Makes me think that...
