Can anybody recommend some good mysteries?

That sounds vaguely familiar... I'll check it out. Thanks.

Can anybody recommend some good mysteries?

So, I'm on a bit of a mystery kick. I've only read a few, probably one of my favorites being "Kiss Me, Judas" by Will Christopher Baer. I just finished a couple by Carl Hiaason, and was hoping somebody could drop me some names I could check out, maybe in the vain of those two authors, but really...

    Chuck Palahniuk: Rant

I'm not sure that Echo is in one of his other books, but it's possible. He does have some things that appear in all his books, like the color corn-flower blue.

    Chuck Palahniuk: Rant

It was a fine book, but I think one of Palahniuk's weaker efforts... Just too many, "I wonder if that can even happen" moments. But yeah, I pretty much feel the same, good until all the weird time-traveling stuff.

Evening everybody. Or, I guess, could be morning...

    Chuck Palahniuk: Rant

It could be that, except that Wax guy was there, and he erased himself. The idea that she's Tina Something, that's interesting, I hadn't thought of that. The only thing I could think of is that she is the "writer" of this story, but I don't know what that would mean for the story. Would that...

What fiction book do you keep reading over and over?

I've read the first few "Dark Tower" books a few times each, but the one I've read the most, who knows how many times, "Choke" by Chuck Palahinuk. Hilarious, heart-breaking read from start to finish. And, I think, the best opening sentence of a book I've read. Probably ever.

    Chuck Palahniuk: Rant

So, first off what did you think? I"m not sure I liked it yet, it's one of those books for me. Anyway, I had a question about it, and wondered if anyone had some ideas... If you've read it, remember the character Echo? She's a major character, one of the main characters, but she is left out of...

Evening everybody. Or, I guess, could be morning...

Hey, so the website told me to introduce myself. I'm not quite sure how to do that considering I don't know anyone in this community, but hi, pleasure to meet you. Unless you're a surly person reading this, in which case, I'm sorry I met you; you should be ashamed of yourself. And yeah, I'd be...
