So, I'm on a bit of a mystery kick. I've only read a few, probably one of my favorites being "Kiss Me, Judas" by Will Christopher Baer. I just finished a couple by Carl Hiaason, and was hoping somebody could drop me some names I could check out, maybe in the vain of those two authors, but really...
I'm not sure that Echo is in one of his other books, but it's possible. He does have some things that appear in all his books, like the color corn-flower blue.
It was a fine book, but I think one of Palahniuk's weaker efforts... Just too many, "I wonder if that can even happen" moments. But yeah, I pretty much feel the same, good until all the weird time-traveling stuff.
Alright, so just make sure everybody gets their coffee going? That seems simple enough. So, if anyone is interested, my favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk, or at least, he's the one I've read the most. Following at a close second, and sometimes ousting Palahniuk, depending on the day...

I've read the first few "Dark Tower" books a few times each, but the one I've read the most, who knows how many times, "Choke" by Chuck Palahinuk. Hilarious, heart-breaking read from start to finish. And, I think, the best opening sentence of a book I've read. Probably ever.
