Does anyone else have a little book list for 2014? :]

I'm always looking forward to way more book releases than I can actually read! :)

The biggest ones for me this year are:

February
Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer (came out 2/4)

Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi (came out 2/4)

I met Tahereh a couple years ago, btw, and she's awesome. :)

Perfect Lies (Mind Games, #2) by Kiersten White

March
The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy #1) by Marie Rutkoski
Panic by Lauren Oliver

August
Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins

I've seen postings that Robin McKinley will be publishing the second half of Pegasus this year, but it keeps getting put off, so I'm really not holding out much hope. The first half of the story was a bit slow moving and wordy but, despite that, I got COMPLETELY sucked into the story/relationship and have been dying for the other half.

And wow, I've been out of the loop to not know Maggie Stiefvater has another book coming out! Will have to check that out, Bookworm00!!

Will add more to the post as I have time. :)

Well, on my pre-ordered list from Amazon, I have:

The Son by Jo Nesbo
The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling)
The Black-eyed Blonde, A Philip Marlow Novel by Benjamin Black (aka John Banville)
The Last Town (A Wayward Pines Series, Book Three) by Blake Crouch
Death of the Black-Haired Girl by Robert Stone

All coming out March - September 2014

Those look good too! I'm going to edit my post to add some of the others on my list. I was trying to add cover images and it was making things take too long, so I'll just use text now. :)

I've only recently started getting into Young Adult books. I have the three current Rainbow Rowell books waiting to be read, along with two from Stephanie Perkins... all of which I've heard good things about.

I've been in a bit of a reading slump recently and I think I might start with a Rainbow Rowell book to get me back on track.

Nice to see some other Young Adult fans on the board who aren't necessarily the age bracket these books are specifically aimed at.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I cannot upload any images from my computer.
As administrator are you the right person to ask about this?
Could we have this facility please?

I definitely have a weakness for YA. :) I find that they tend to be more intense and compelling for me to read than most other things - so definitely good for exiting a reading slump. :D

I haven't read any Rainbow Rowell - will have to check those out. I definitely adore Stephanie Perkins though! Sweet and entertaining stories.

Răspunsul, I'm still getting my bearings here, and looking for simpler ways of doing things, but for now you should be able to at least post images that are stored online by clicking on the picture icon (the box that looks like it has mountains & a sun in it) next to the smiley face when you're composing your text and pasting the picture location in the popup box. Let me know if you need help.

All you need is the URL of the image and paste that in your post.

Images should ideally be resized to a max width of 640 px for forums to avoid slowing down the loading of a thread.

That's okay I can wait, don't worry.
I meant uploading photos of pets, loved ones etc etc.

Steles of the Sky by Elizabeth Bear

is due on April 8th. The third in the three part Eternal Sky series.

It's seriously good, and I'm not even a fantasy reader. Well, I am now.

I have yet to get into the Shatter Me trilogy :3 I'm still debating if I want to read it because there's mixed reviews on Goodreads. The metaphors seem to be annoying for people.

Sinner is going to be about Cole :)

Which Rainbow Rowell books do you have? If you have Fangirl I'd reccomend starting that :) I loved it! I'm not so interested in Eleanor & Park though. I definitely want to read Attachments and Landline.

The metaphors in Shatter Me do take some getting used to (true of The Book Thief as well!) and I'll admit I felt completely lost at the end of #1 but the book was super engrossing for me, felt unique, kept me guessing, and I had a hard time putting it down. I have yet to read #2 and plan to read it and #3 together. I get so frustrated/antsy waiting for sequels!!! :)

I definitely enjoyed Cole in the other Wolves of Mercy Falls books so will be looking forward to reading that!

I have Attachments, Eleanor & Park and Fangirl. I read Attachments a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It was actually the book that got me out of a fairly long reading slump.

That's great to hear :) I need to get Attachments soon. But I need to read through my huge TBR pile D:
