I have the exact same problem. I really need to slap a big No-Book-Buying Ban on myself until I get through some of the books on my TBR pile... a fair few of which I've had for years!But I need to read through my huge TBR pile D:

Yay! Well done pontabla. Maybe I should start an Amazon wish list too.Although I've bought too many books this year, I have managed to put quite a few on my Amazon Wish List. Baby steps.
That's the problem though - why do you think I've kept hold of them for so long?!Well, Karen, the problem with getting rid of books you think you might not read, is that reading is a moody thing. You may not be in the mood atm to read that particular book, but that can change.

In all seriousness though there are a few that I know I will never read again as I never enjoyed them first time around and have no intention of ever reading them again. Plus getting rid of books means it makes room for new books!
