Anyone seen this little gem? It's a fantastic film - I rented it, watched it, watched it again, returned it, and bought it.

A bit dark and depressing but I loved the way the storyline was sequenced and threaded together.

I thought it was ok. I watched it about 2 months ago. The weekend after watching it, I walked into the video rental place with he who makes a steak sauce named after himself. I browse. I pick up a box and say "Hey, how about this one?". He who has bad taste in shoes says "We saw that last week". "Oh yeah, we did too". I still ahve to pick it up and look at the pictures and read the story on the back to bring back glimpses. Maybe we watch too many movies (on average... 2-4 per week).

That's my take.

Have you seen "Amores Perros" by the same director? It also features a car crash that connects three stories. I recommend it if you haven't.

I might rent "21 grams" some day but I'm a bit dubious about directors gone Hollywood and the trailer didn't tickle my green fancy.

Please go see it - ht eonly connection it has with Hollywood is the money and the actors, which are both good influences (budget and talent).

I know of Amores Perros, and I'll make sure I'll see it one day - thanks for the head's up.
