I have been looking for this book for years, I read it in the early 90's. It's about a woman who has really low self esteem and she marries a doctor who's whole family are doctors but she still loves her old boyfriend who is an artist named Nick. I think the word wife may be in the title but I cant remember, the cover was a woman in a wedding dress with her back to you holding flowers I think. I remember scenes from the book but cannot find it.

It's a newer book than that. Could be the same story line but it's a modern romance probably written in the early to mid 80's because i read it in the late 80's or early 90's. It's been driving me crazy for years, every place that has books for sale I look for that cover.
