What is Leather?

Love is a bone, white and dry,
A bone I have licked white
From the red and meat and what else was there
The slithery pinks, the matted hair
Bone dry, perfect as chalk, I finished it
Split the flesh and fingered it free
Tore and mouthed it greedily
Love is a bone, gone white and dry.

Love is charcoal, love is black
Burned from hickory and oak
I prodded it with an iron hook
I ate the soot and swallowed smoke
Rose ashen from the blackened ground
Love is charcoal, black and round.

Love is leather, whip or belt
Stripped and tanned and sorely felt
Soft and greasy, tame as teeth
Cut the air and split the skin
Love is what you find within.
Love is leather, soft and warm.
It will not do you any harm.

hahaha

When love is a bone, it is fragile; when love is a charcole, it can be easily powderized; when love is a leather, it can't stand on its own feet. It will not do you any harm? Who believe it. :p

But still, love is lovely.

I like Sirmyk's comment too.:D
