A Regency Era Romance

I read a book about a girls that was the youngest of three childern that escaped from the french revolution. Two of the children were returned to thier family in england but the women that took them to england took her as she was a baby and she told the family that she died. As an adult she comes to england from America for business and is told she looks just like and Contess that died in France along with her husband and children.

I would like to read the book again and I think it is part of a three part series. I do not remember the auther or title.

I'm not sure if I know the book you're talking about, but I know that Alexandre Dumas wrote a lot of good novels about the Revolution and other french history.
