Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Not really an 'adventure' theme, but if you liked count of monte cristo, you'll probably like it.

Lots of film attempts at adaptating it- one of the more current ones is cruel intentions.

I've read it and thought it very interesting...if indeed it's true. It gives a different twist to the myth of Kidd.

Oh yes, Ivanhoe belongs up there of course, but be prepared for some marathon sentences constituting truly titanic descriptive passages - I didn't know it was possible to achieve so many clauses in a single structure!

Can't believe that I have not gotten around to reading thease classic adventure books before! Ahhh adventure awaits me!
 
That's my all-time favourite book! You'll love it! But be patient with Conseil :rolleyes: You'll see what I mean when you start reading it. :)
