sadly not much of skier, more of a get dressed in gear and drink while watching others type. i do love snow.

stewart where would you go?

Right, who lives in Rio, that where I'm off to :D Seriously, I'm half tempted to choose Ashley or someone else who lives in Texas!! Last time I went I was about fifteen and it was great.

I walked out of the air-conditioned airport in a jumper and jeans to be hit in the face by 100 degrees of heat, suffice to say the first thing we did after finding the rental car was getting changed :D

Rostov-on-Don is twinned with Glasgow. Also, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Vladivostock. The railway trip would be excellent.

In Poland I've only been to Gdynia and Sopot but I want to see Warsaw, Krakow, and more.

A friend of mine went out to Russia last year, he enjoyed himself no end (Although I got the strange idea he spent a considerable amount of his time drinking vodka in bars).

Krakow and Warsaw are very impressive, as is the nearby Auswitch, but that goes without saying.

By the way, skiing in the Netherlands? What brochure have you been reading?

Cheers

so there is no skiing in the netherlands? well what in the hell are we going to do when i come visit then?

I was just curious to see if people were aware of the nation's impressive flatness. ;)

No no no, you're wrong - I was talking about this little park just off Krakow, where they sell the best kookies you've ever had.

No, not really, I'm an idiot.

Cheers

You know, I was scared of the Auswitch too when I was a kid. The wicked witch had nothing on her!
