(Thought I'd make a quick introduction first, so here goes!)


Interests/hobbies: Archaeology, paleontology, environment, foreign cultures, history, gardening, cooking, fish keeping, many genres of music, art & creative stuff in general.

From: England.

Currently reading: "Severed - A History of Heads Lost and Heads Found" (by Frances Larsen).
Some favorite books as an adult: Memoirs of a Geisha (Arthur Golden), Samurai William: The Adventurer Who Unlocked Japan (Giles Milton), The Tribes of Britain (David Miles), The Damage Done (W.Fellows), 7000 years of Jewelry (Hugh Tait). National Geographic Prehistoric Mammals (Alan Turner) etc.

Some favorite books as a child: Aesops Fables, Redwall series (Brian Jacques), Grimms Fairytails.

What books i'm really passionate about at the moment: Cookbooks! (particularly old/retro ones).
 
Hi Tokis86, I have just joined the forum myself, if you read my introduction you will see that I have a vast collection of cook books, if you ever want to discuss or search for a particular one then let me know. I have old quirky ones right up to modern/latest cheffy ones.
