Any book recommendations?

I always have this story in my head about two teenage neighbors in love and I'm wondering if theres any book like that...maybe a sad romantic kind of teenage summer love book?

Stephen King's Hearts in Atlantis - collection of 5 stories, majority of them were of young people going thru life experiences, and no horror. The book has 640 pages, so each stories are pretty fair and not too short.
