Hi again,

I'm thinking about doing a literature unit plan on the Depression era and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for interesting books for young adult readers in the realm of this topic...I already have No Promises in the Wind by Irene Hunt...any suggestion would be appreciated :D

Well of course, you can't ignore the classic Depression novel, John Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath (though I personally didn't find it too interesting).

Have fun choosing, since there are so many wonderful titles available.
Here's some:

Where the Red Fern Grows
Paper Moon-Joe David Brown
Stars in My Crown-Joe David Brown(a favorite here)
Little Britches-Moody
