ive been looking for this book for a while.. no one seems to know it, hopefully someone can help me! i read this book a while ago, so i cant really remember a whole about it, but its similar to a V C Andrews book i believe.
the family's name is monarch i think, they are jewellers, and the butterfly is the symbol for their company. the man who owns the business has a son from his first wife, and when he remarries, he has a daughter. the half brother starts to molest the half sister, and he does other weird things, like killing her kitten... but the mom catches him molesting her, so she takes her child and runs away, taking some jewels with her. the grandfather tries to stop her, since he wants the girl to stay in the family, he attacks the mom, so she kills him. since she is a physic she goes to the circus and travels with them for a while.. the monarch family is still looking for her, so she leaves her daughter with the circus and flees. years later, the daughter gets a job at the jewelery place for the monarch family, and her half brother once again falls in love with her. the mother has visions of all this happening and treis to contact her daughter, but the half brother catches on before she can, he then kills the mom. i cant remember why, but the two are at a cottage (wedding night?) but she suddenly gains her memory back from childhood,realizes its her brother and remembers what he did, so she flees the cabin, and he chases her.. he tries to kill her, she gets away and he ends up dying... now i think but im not sure if its the same book, but somewhere in the middle the girl has a friend, and he is jealous, so to scare her off he leaves a dead rat in a box on her door step i think... he also murders her, i think. oh and the girl is in love with this guy that took care of her at the circus.. she ends up with him at the end.. if anyone has ANY ideas about this, it would help a lot! lol thank you so much..
