http://www.booksxyz.com/profile.php?bid=101889&x1=Y
read more bad sensationalist occult history
http://www.booksxyz.com/profile.php?bid=703662&x1=Y
off the top of my head, i would also suggest trying some borges, some lovecraft, some histories on catharism, freemasonry, the cosmic trigger books, skinny legs and all, stephenson's quicksilver ( if quasi-historical fiction is your bag) maybe some of the old frank yerby stuff..an odor of sanctity is pretty good...there is tons of this sort of thing, potboilers with occult themes, sensationalist histories and fiction based around secret orders...also some good research out there about templars, etc.. iremember one particulary wretched example of occult detective novels from the sixties that used genuine occult rituals and such..um i want to say simon magus, or simon templar or something like that..anyway, i recall one about secret orders, tantric sexual rituals and werewolves..it was awful, but i loved it ..it was called "lady sativa" i think
