just an idea, but wouldn't it be great if all the authors were sticky threads in alphabetical order, then if you wanted to see what other people had read and said it would be easier to find?

kind of like browsing a book shelf.

The only problem with that is that there are thousands of authors. The library will allow you to search by author name and then list all the books and ratings for that author (or at least those that are in the database).

You could always search the forums for a specific author name, and list all the threads with that name in.

If an author/series becomes very popular and a lot of people want to talk about it, we'll consider opening a subforum for them (similar to the new Harry Potter forum we've just opened).
