Out goes Morse, Barnaby, Frost and Tennison and in comes Banks and Thorne.

Peter Robinson's, DCI Banks 'Aftermath' was an excellent start to what should hopefully be a long run of a new crime series.

And we get to view Thorne this coming Sunday.

Unfortunately I haven't got Sky so no Thorne for me - which is a shame because I do like the books. DCI Banks was excellent though. I've not read the book it was based on, but would like to. Hopefully it'll get a whole series.

If you don't want to start from book 1 ( there are 19 in total) start with 'In a Dry Season', that's the first book Annie appears in.
