Tons of better lists on listsofbests and you can sign up and mark what you've read (or seen for films). It included the Big Read too, but has some others, like Whitbread Book Awards, or Orange Prize For Fiction.

i've only read 14 (well 16 really because his dark materials is actually three books, but it's only counted as one here.) but 9 more of them are on my tbr list. the rest i either have no interest in reading or haven't heard of.
