Saw the 'Making of ...' and nearly died. They took all the 'super' out of Superman.

Hmm, that may actually make it more interesting to me.

I don't even remember the brandon routh version. and I recently-ish saw the Christopher Reeves one (the one where he opted to become human) and thought that that was a movie of and for that particular time, rather than any impression of it being good or bad.

Anyway I dislike Superman. My absolute favourite superhero is (was) Cyclops from the X-Men, and he's been totally screwed in both comics-land and movie-land.

I recommend Irredeemable for a nuanced take on an all powerful superbeing. It's Superman gone bad. Much more interesting.
