My Three best Fantasy reads Of All Time

What do you think is the best fantasy book there is (or series) discuss here. Here are my three best fantasy reads;

1. Magician -Raymond E. Feist
2. The Dragonlance Chronicles (S.) -Margaret Wies & Tracy Hickman
3. The Hobbit

Very tough choice; if I had to choose it would probably me Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast.

Apparently I should read Gormenghast, im told. what's it like? is it a good read?

It's a little removed from the worlds of Drangonlance and the Hobbit, but you should give it ago. In fact, I think everyone should, though it's always going to be controversial because of sheer length and heaviness.
