I'm Buck Edge, new to this site/forum. I’m a prolific reader and not so efficient writer. I’ve finished my first historical novel and am in the process of publication (yuk!). Anyway, I’m looking forward to conversing with you….

Thanks for the welcome. I like thick, juicy, historical novels: Lonesome Dove, From Here to Eternity, Centennial, Shogun, and all that jazz. My novel is a lot like these, but not published—yet. I’ll post a scene or two in the Writing Section. Thanks for pointing out that option. JIM

Hey Buck, as great as having your wife edit your work is, make sure you know what she's correcting, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in the next book. There's always a next book Keep dreaming.
